Hooked On Houses Fall House Tour

Posted on October 25, 2009. Filed under: Uncategorized |

I have been so inspired by looking at each of the homes featured at Hooked on Houses Fall Tour.

As the days get cooler and the colors get warmer, I feel lik eI have the perfect place to get cozy and enjoy the season. The colors I have chosen for the interior of my home are perfect for Autumn and Winter. I will try to post some pictures because my family room is a yelloy/pumpkin color and features a massive stone fireplace. My kitchen is a clay red with a yellow ceiling, white cabinetry and indestructable stainless stell countertops. Even my powder room is red with pale green tiles.

It is rainy here today and we have a fire roaring in the family room. This picture doesn’t do it justice.

We also have an entire corner of our family room filled with books. This is directly opposite the front door. I think it makes a warm first impression and people know right away that we adore books.

I just baked cookies in my kitchen and I will probably have a few with a cup of tea while sitting in my cozy nook.

You should have seen this powder room before we updated it (you will see it in a future post). It is the most used bathroom in the house and I wanted it to make a statement.
